ASC and ADHD Assessment Pathway
Young people (aged 16-25) and Adult assessments are available online and face-to-face in Westerham.

1
Contact
Upon contacting Dr Nicola Rose Psychology Services, you will receive information about your assessment pathway, including further details regarding what to expect in the process and fees. An initial consultation will also be arranged. A set of screening questionnaires and intake forms will also be sent for you to complete and return before the first meeting.
2
Consultation and Screening
You will meet with Dr Nicola Rose and discuss your current challenges, what has led you to have the assessment, and an overview of your history. The questionnaires you have completed will also be addressed. At the end of the consultation, it will be decided whether progression to further assessment is required, and an additional appointment will be scheduled if this is deemed appropriate.
3
Focused Assessment
A further assessment session will be scheduled with you. This will focus on gaining additional information about you and the current challenges you are experiencing through structured, evidence-based interviews. You will be invited to bring someone who knows you well to help provide additional information for the assessment process. You may be requested to complete further online assessments in this session or before. It may be necessary to have this stage split over two sessions.
4
Report
A full report will be developed, outlining the assessment sessions' content and outcomes. A draft will be sent to you prior to the next session for you to review.
5
Feedback and Post diagnosis Follow up
In this session, we will discuss the assessment outcomes, how you are feeling about the diagnosis, the report, and any recommendations. Further reading and support will be suggested.
6
Final Report
You will receive a full comprehensive report that includes the recommendations suggested in the previous appointment.
7
Additional optional step: Referral Post Assessment
If a diagnosis of ADHD is made and a referral to a Consultant Psychiatrist is agreed upon, please be aware that this will be at an additional cost to those quoted, payable to the Consultant directly. Initial appointment fees vary in price, and fees for follow-up sessions may be required. Private medical insurance may cover such appointments. A referral from a Consultant Psychiatrist will be needed for medical treatment within the NHS.
